William R. Fry Scholarship
Award Description:
The William R. Fry Scholarship is made possible by an estate gift from the late William R. Fry (B.S. ’58). A successful serial entrepreneur, Mr. Fry first started an investment management firm, Progressive United Corp., in Indianapolis, Indiana and later became the owner and manager of numerous radio stations in the state of Louisiana. The award provides financial support to qualified incoming Direct Admit freshmen in the Kelley School who have financial need per the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Record of strong academic achievement
- Incoming, direct admit freshmen
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business
- Financial need per the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Application Process:
Interested and eligible students should submit the IU General Scholarship Application, including the IUB-Kelley School of Business Current Student Application, by February 1 prior to the award year. Candidates must also file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Renewal students must submit the noted applications and FAFSA each spring by February 1.
