As long as you leave Kelley in good standing, you may return without having to reapply for admission. You will still need to complete the Returning Student Form.
If you are not enrolled in the current term, then your record becomes inactive. See more details about when to notify Records of your return for planning for the future.
Your student computing accounts remain active as long as you are enrolled at any IU campus. After two consecutive terms (fall/spring or spring/fall), during which you are not enrolled at IU, UITS will disable your account.
Submit the Returning Student form by the appropriate deadline to assure your record is reactivated, your registration appointment is requested, and you have ample opportunity to register for available classes.
When the Recorder receives your returning student form, your record will be reviewed and if you left Kelley in good standing, OIS will be sent an email stating you are approved to return for the appropriate semester.
IU Bloomington controls registration timetables and processes of appointment scheduling for all students. Learn more about the IU process at Student Central.
