Resources for Your Student

Support your student’s success.

This is an exciting time for your Kelley student, but it can also be overwhelming. There are many resources available to help your student with coursework, career preparation, and wellness.

Academic Resources

The curriculum at Kelley is rigorous. This might be the first time your child is really challenged in the classroom—and that’s OK. It’s important for them to seek help from their teachers and advisors, as well as use resources at Kelley and IU. Encourage your student to visit the Student Portal on the Kelley website to explore academic support services.

Students can begin working with a career coach in their first year. Once they’ve enrolled in or completed one of Kelley's career education courses on the Bloomington campus, they can log in to make an appointment with a career coach.

For help with resumes, networking, interviewing, or any quick career questions, stop by the Conrad Prebys Career Services Center lobby from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Check in at the Drop-in Only kiosk and a peer coach or career coach will help you. Can’t make it to drop-in hours? Stop by the Prebys Center lobby from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Once students have enrolled in or completed one of Kelley's career education courses on the Bloomington campus, they can log into Kelley Connect to access job listings, resume tools, and other resources.

Mental Wellness Initiatives

The Kelley School of Business is committed to helping its students achieve balance—as students and throughout their lives as business professionals. Kelley has started several programs to teach students how to manage stress and cope with challenges, and the school plans to create a space dedicated to wellness inside the Hodge Hall Undergraduate Center.
