A Kelley tradition

Hosted by Dean Ashok “Ash” Soni, the Induction Ceremony provides a forum for students and their families to hear from leaders of the faculty, alumni association, and student government. In a defining moment of the ceremony, students are formally inducted by reciting the Kelley Creed and joining the ranks of current students and the more than 130,000 living alumni who have shared this transformational experience.

Hotel availability may be somewhat limited, so book your room as early as possible. For a comprehensive list of hotels in Bloomington, refer to the Bloomington Visitor’s Center. Most hotels are not within walking distance of the IU campus, but sufficient parking is available near the IU Auditorium for the Induction Ceremony.

Parking on Campus

The IU Auditorium is centrally located on campus, making it easily accessible from various parking lots. We recommend attendees park either in the Jordan Avenue garage (free on weekends) or in one of the lots on Seventh Street adjoining the Indiana Memorial Union (hourly fee to park). The map below describes how to access these parking options.
