About the MS in Finance degree

The +Kelley MS in Finance is an in-residence degree program that includes the following:

The full-time +Kelley MS in Finance is a 30 credit-hour degree. Students with a business degree can complete the degree in 11 months (July through May). Students without a business degree are required to take the +Kelley Business Foundations boot camp and will graduate in 12 months (June through May).

Our students are talented thinkers who solve problems. Upon graduation, you will develop skills used by CFOs and treasurers, including:

  • Risk management
  • Asset allocation
  • Capital budgeting
  • Financial modeling
  • Treasury management
  • Capital structure analysis and management
  • Asset and company valuation
  • Currency management

The +Kelley MS in Finance curriculum consists of a business boot camp in June, a finance boot camp in July, and electives. The business boot camp will introduce nonbusiness students to business topics, including financial accounting, economics, and data modeling. The finance boot camp, required of all students, covers the principles of finance.
