See how stories drive action in this powerful training opportunity

Join us online April 6 for the Executive Leadership Lecture featuring Sally Perkins, PhD, author of From Story to Action. For more than 15 years, Sally has been training organizational leaders, including physicians, how to tell stories that drive action.

In this engaging session, Sally will help you see why you need the art of storytelling to influence your patients, your healthcare communities, and your larger communities. Specifically, you'll walk away with four tools:

    1. An understanding from neuroscience on why stories are essential for influence
    2. A simple yet unique storytelling structure that ensures you're telling stories that engage
    3. A storytelling framework for telling stories with high emotional impact
    4. A storytelling framework that weaves data into strategic stories that touch both the head and the heart

This session will be as practical as it will be intellectually engaging. You'll instantly find yourself applying the frameworks to many dimensions of your work as physicians. CME credit will be offered.

A gift from our physician alumni

IU Kelley Physician MBA alumni present a gift to the program.

In the Kelley Physician MBA, physicians understand the value of learning from others, and they pay it forward. This lecture series was created through a generous gift from the Class of 2016, in which each member donated funds to endow it. In addition to providing current students access to high-profile healthcare leaders, the lecture series is an opportunity for alumni to return to Indianapolis and participate in thought-provoking discussions throughout their careers.
