Build connections in person during Kelley On Campus.

If you are pursuing an online MBA, your education will include two sessions of Kelley On Campus (formerly Kelley Connect Week) built into the beginning and end of your program. Your first Kelley On Campus experience is an intensive in-person introduction to the Kelley Direct program, held on location on Indiana University’s beautiful Bloomington campus.

While you’re here you will start building lifelong connections and discover new pathways and opportunities for your future. Kelley On Campus experiences are built into the Kelley Direct curriculum and are a required element for graduation.

Due to current travel and safety concerns, in-person Kelley Direct Online MBA experiences are postponed. This includes in-person Kelley On Campus experiences and Global and Domestic Immersion programs, for which virtual options are now available. Kelley Direct Online MBA and MS courses are offered 100% online. In-person experiences will be resumed when it is safe to do so.

First-Year Kelley On Campus: Go behind the scenes of a live business case project.

In your first Kelley On Campus session, at the beginning of your MBA degree program, you will:

  • Work in a team to develop a solution to a business challenge facing a real company

  • Learn critical business concepts as you address the needs of your case competition client

  • Build relationships with faculty and classmates at receptions throughout the week (including a trip to Nick’s English Hut, an iconic Bloomington pub) and connect with members of the Kelley Direct Student Leadership Association

  • Meet one-on-one with your career coach, explore resources within Graduate Career Services, and attend a professional development workshop

MBA students return for another Kelley On Campus session at the beginning of their second year of their program, to further build connections with classmates, faculty, and business leaders, and to:

  • Touch base with your career coach to ensure you are making the right moves to reach your professional goals

  • Learn about the market impacts of disruptive technology, emerging markets, strategic decision making, financial risk, and other relevant business topics

  • Work with a team for a second case competition, this time with a global focus
