Business is global. With Kelley Direct, you can build a network that is too.
With students located in 31 countries on five continents and in all 50 states, Kelley Direct’s unique interactive platform will allow you to build connections with colleagues around the world.
The Kelley School added international business classes to its curriculum in 1959, becoming only the second school in the nation to do so. Our faculty continues to excel in internationally focused research and cross-cultural approaches to teaching business.
In addition to gaining a global education, you’ll have opportunities to develop your network of global business connections, crucial in today’s business environment, through Kelley Direct with:
If you opt to participate in the AGILE (Accelerating Global Immersion Leadership Education) course, you’ll spend several weeks online, gaining a deep understanding of the business environment in rapidly emerging markets such as China, India, South Africa, or Brazil. In your sixth week, you’ll be immersed in the country of study, visiting key companies and working on a real-world project.
Build a network of peers and mentors while working with classmates and elite Kelley faculty during Kelley Connect Week on Indiana University’s Bloomington campus. A Kelley Connect Week for online MBA students is a required part of the Kelley Direct program. Students have the opportunity to meet faculty and their peers, work on team projects, and attend networking events. Students return during their second year for an additional Kelley Connect Week for an international business case.
Through Kelley Direct’s interactive technology, you’ll work with teams of fellow students in real time and around the world on real business cases, learning from faculty and the experience of your peers.
Hone your leadership skills and strengthen your business network by connecting with peers that share your interests in a Kelley Direct student organization. You can help direct the future of Kelley Direct through the Student Leadership Association or even start your own student group.
As a Kelley Direct student you not only join Kelley’s network of nearly 110,000 living alumni—the largest business school alumni network in the world—you also become part of Indiana University’s alumni family of more than 500,000, with access to networking events throughout the year and around the globe.
