Undergraduates majoring in management at the Kelley School in Bloomington are invited to apply for conditional admission, based on meeting the following criteria. A final admission decision is granted in a student’s last undergraduate semester, contingent on successful completion of their undergraduate degree.

Admission requirements:

• Kelley School of Business Bloomington management major
• Junior standing or above (60+ credit hours)
• Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA
• Completion of all undergraduate management major requirements, with the exception of up to 9 total credit hours of management major requirements and/or general electives prior to their first AMP term
• Completion of all undergraduate secondary, co-major, or IU General Education coursework requirements prior to the first AMP term

Eligible courses: The following master’s-level courses are available to admitted Kelley management majors through AMP. All courses are worth 1.5 credit hours and are offered in fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Undergraduates majoring in a business discipline other than management at the Kelley School of Business in Bloomington are invited to apply for conditional admission based on the following criteria. A final admission decision is granted in a student’s last undergraduate semester, contingent on successful completion of their undergraduate degree.

Admission requirements:

• Kelley School of Business Bloomington major (nonmanagement)
• Junior standing or above (60+ credit hours)
• Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA
• Completion of all undergraduate major requirements, with the exception of up to 6 total credit hours of major requirements and/or general business electives prior to their first AMP term
• Completion of all undergraduate secondary, co-major, or IU General Education coursework requirements prior to the first AMP term

Eligible courses: The following master’s-level courses are available to admitted Kelley students in undergraduate business majors other than management. All courses are worth 1.5 credit hours and are offered in fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Undergraduates at IU Bloomington pursuing a nonbusiness major are invited to apply for conditional admission, based on meeting the following criteria. A final admission decision is granted in a student’s last undergraduate semester, contingent on successful completion of their undergraduate degree.

Admission requirements:

• IU Bloomington student
• Junior standing or above (60+ credit hours)
• Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
• Completion of all undergraduate secondary, co-major, or IU General Education coursework requirements prior to the first AMP term
• If you do not have a business minor, you must complete BUS-X 545 Business Foundations (6 credit hours; summer only) before beginning the approved graduate coursework.

Eligible courses: The following master’s-level courses are available to admitted IU Bloomington students through AMP. All courses are worth 1.5 credit hours and are offered in fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Eligibility varies based on your undergraduate major. Kelley management majors, other Kelley Bloomington business majors, and IU Bloomington students pursuing nonbusiness bachelor’s degrees have different GPA and coursework requirements. Review the admission criteria above to determine which AMP pathway applies to you.

You should start planning during your sophomore year. This gives you time to review eligibility requirements, complete prerequisites, and work with your undergraduate academic advisor to make sure your degree plan allows room for approved graduate coursework.

You apply during your junior year after completing the requirements for your AMP pathway. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission. AMP applicants must complete the required graduate application process and be selected for admission.

Yes. Approved coursework can count toward both your undergraduate and master’s degrees. The number of credits and approved courses varies by undergraduate major, so review the requirements for your specific AMP pathway above.

You should receive conditional admission to MSM before enrolling in courses intended to count toward your bachelor’s and/or master’s. Do not assume that graduate-level coursework will automatically count toward both degrees.

AMP students are charged graduate tuition rates for graduate-level coursework in accordance with university policies. Merit-based fellowships and graduate assistantship opportunities are available, and eligible students are automatically considered at the time of admission. If you have an existing scholarship, check with your scholarship administrator to determine whether it applies to the AMP pathway.
