Earn your bachelor’s and master’s degrees in 4 years or less

With the Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP), you can launch an accelerated business management degree that expands your career possibilities. Start your MS in Management while finishing your bachelor’s degree on this AMP path available to all IU students, including nonbusiness majors. Apply to the AMP as an undergraduate (as early as your second year) before the annual April 1 deadline.

Admission criteria for the business management accelerated degree path

Admission requirements and course requirements for this combined bachelor's and master's degree program vary based on your undergraduate major.

Undergraduates majoring in management at the Kelley School are invited to apply for conditional admission, based on meeting the following criteria. A final admission decision is granted in a student’s last undergraduate semester, contingent on successful completion of their undergraduate degree.

Admission requirements:

  • Kelley School of Business management major
  • Junior standing or above (60+ credit hours)
  • Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA
  • Completion of all undergraduate management major requirements, with the exception of up to 9 total credit hours of management major requirements and/or general electives prior to their first AMP term
  • Completion of all undergraduate secondary, co-major, or IU General Education coursework requirements prior to the first AMP term
  • Application received by April 1

Eligible courses: The following master’s level courses are eligible for enrollment to undergraduate Kelley students majoring in management who are admitted to AMP. All of the following courses are worth 1.5 credit hours and are offered fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Choose up to 9 credit hours from:

  • BUS- J 501 Developing Strategic Capabilities
  • BUS- K 507 Intro to Spreadsheet Modeling
  • BUS-S 535 The Business of Technology: Technology Trends
  • BUS-D 503 International Business Environments
  • BUS-D 504 International Business Operations
  • BUS-Z 525 Foundations of Leadership
  • BUS-Z 526 Self-Leadership

  • Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
  • Completion of all undergraduate secondary, co-major, or IU General Education coursework requirements prior to the first AMP term
  • Application received by April 1

Eligible courses: The following master’s level courses are eligible for enrollment to undergraduate IU Bloomington students who are admitted to AMP. All of the following courses are worth 1.5 credit hours and are offered fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Choose up to 9 credit hours from:
