Graduate Certificate in Internal Audit

Go beyond basic accounting to understand financial reporting and how to evaluate a company’s internal financial or operational controls with the Graduate Certificate in Internal Audit. Take graduate courses in fraud and forensic accounting and IT auditing. Plus, a hands-on case study will equip you to successfully audit a company’s financial or operational systems.

This 12 credit hour graduate certificate includes:

• Option to carry these credits toward earning a Master of Science in Accounting degree by completing an additional 18 credit hours.
• Option to carry these credits toward earning an MBA upon being accepted to the Kelley Indianapolis Evening MBA Program.
• 160 continuing professional education (CPE) credit hours.
• Six graduate certificate credit hours billed at the undergraduate tuition rate for students taking business electives through the Kelley Indianapolis Undergraduate Program.
• Six graduate certificate hours can be completed through a one-weekend internal case course and internal audit internship.

Application requirements

Applicants must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.2 at the time of application. Students with a GPA between 2.8 and 3.2 may be admitted with permission from the Graduate Accounting Programs faculty chair.

• BUPA-A 500 Professional and Ethical Responsibilities in Accounting (FA, SP)
