The Kelley School’s consortium program provides powerful and efficient executive development for member organizations. The consortia grew from a recognized need by industry leaders for an integrated development approach to give leaders the tools to address new and existing challenges, such as industry restructuring and globalization.
The first alliance was set up among non-competing firms in order to create a venue where emerging leaders within the member companies could openly share and learn together. This model has proven so successful that Kelley now supports the needs of multiple consortia, each with their own programmatic themes, structures, and membership requirements.
This approach combines key benefits of Kelley’s popular open enrollment programs, which draw people from a wide array of firms, and the custom programs, which link learning to the business objectives of the firm. The consortium program includes diversity of industry representation and is focused on the organizational context of the consortium partner firms.
