Because digital badges can be displayed on an individual’s LinkedIn account, as well as other social media sites, they provide evidence of skills and competencies achieved through the Executive Education program at the top-ranked Kelley School of Business. Badges earned can also be applied toward a Kelley School of Business Executive Degree Program (EDP) certificate. A certificate can be applied toward a Kelley Executive Degree Program online MS or MBA degree program.
Each badge will have its own set of criteria that may consists of written responses, quizzes or exams, collaborative work, and webinars. Check the description of each digital badge program offering to determine criteria and requirements.
The Kelley School of Business Executive Education Digital Badge Program is a set of noncredit learning opportunities. With our stackable approach to continuing education, completion of a digital badge program will qualify you to take an Assurance of Learning exam. The cost to take the exam is $1,800. If passed, you will earn 3 credit hours that may be applied to a Kelley Executive Degree Program 12-credit hour certificate, which in turn can be applied to a Kelley Executive Degree Program online MS or MBA program.
Each digital badge program is 10 weeks long. (There will be no webinar and course work over spring break. The program will be 10 weeks over an 11-week period.)
Our online programs are built for the busy working professionals, utilizing a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning activities. There’s a greater emphasis on asynchronous learning and engagement activities, such as discussion boards, email, and course materials on our course site. There will be a one-hour synchronous webinar delivered each week of the course, to enable participants to interact with faculty as well as their learning cohort.
Participants should anticipate 2-4 hours of time commitment each week. This includes the 60-90 minute webinar, readings and assignments, along with brief learning assessments at the end of each week’s session. While participants will be able to work on their own, there will be deadlines to meet.
No pre-program assignments will be required for Kelley Digital Badge Programs.
At the Kelley School of Business, our online programs (degree, credit, and non-credit) are authored and taught by our world-class faculty. You will have the opportunity to interact with these faculty members during each of the webinar sessions and via online discussion.
