Course curriculum

In four courses, you’ll uncover the fundamentals of IT leadership, digital strategy, enterprise platforms, and cybersecurity—empowering you to excel in today’s evolving digital landscape and gain the skills to drive business success regardless of industry.

In this course, students will explore how digital transformation shapes business innovation and strategy. The beginning of the course covers IT management, leadership, and organizational agility and platforms. The course concludes with an assessment of the risks associated with the modern technology landscape, especially those related to privacy and cybersecurity, and includes discussion about emerging technologies.

The objective of this course is for students to discover how artificial intelligence and automation transform business capabilities. Students will dive into topics like AI fundamentals, robotics process automation, and intelligent process automation. The course also explores the impact of AI on organizations and society and includes a project showcase where students will discuss their ideas about products and services based on (or enhanced by) AI and supported by design.

In this course, students gain a comprehensive understanding of digital platforms and systems like enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM). Students take part in a combination of conceptual and hands-on learning using a game-based approach to develop a deep understanding of these systems. The course will enable students to appreciate the tight integration among business processes and the need for close cooperation between business functions. Students will participate in an enterprise system simulation to run a business, develop operational strategies, and implement these strategies to achieve favorable business outcomes.

This course is designed to give students an overview of information systems security at all levels. Students study technology risk management, network vulnerabilities, security controls, and cloud security with a focus on how IT systems can be secured rather than how they can be compromised. The course includes a project to analyze a real-life security breach, allowing students to develop a set of security recommendations to prevent such incidents.
