FAQ

A global MBA

What is a global MBA? How is it different from an international business degree?

We use the terms global and international MBA interchangeably. Our MBA will provide you with the business skills needed to lead a multi-national organization. You’ll gain these through:

  • Diverse classmates and international working teams
  • Exposure to UK and US academic styles of graduate education
  • International workshop/on-campus residencies that provide diverse business perspectives and practices
  • Professional development coaching that focuses on your global career

What are global immersions?

Throughout your Kelley-Manchester experience, you’ll connect with your classmates and learn in person at locations across the globe:

  • Your first semester will begin with five days in the United States on the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, Indiana.
  • In the remaining three semesters, you’ll choose from workshop residencies at the Alliance Manchester Business School’s six global centers in Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Manchester, England; and São Paulo, Brazil. Your four- to six-day workshops provide an opportunity to network with classmates and gain on-the-ground experience in vibrant business centers.
  • You may also take a 5-day public policy course in Washington, D.C.
