An online graduate Business Management Certificate from the Kelley School of Business will prepare you with the practical skills that today’s marketplace demands. Through certificate coursework, you will learn about managing the core business functions, including economics, operations, information technology, and strategic management. You’ll take four courses, totaling 12 credits. And, if you really want to go the distance, apply up to 12 credits from the certificate to an online MS or MBA degree.
Credit Hours and Structure
The Kelley School of Business is one of the top 20 business schools in the country. As such, the curriculum for our programs is rigorous. Earning a graduate certificate is a low-risk way for you to explore the field of business and decide if you want to continue developing your expertise.
The online Business Management Certificate will:
- Require you to apply and be accepted.
- No GMAT/GRE required (a bachelor’s degree is required).
- Consist of four courses.
- Be taught by the same high-ranked faculty who teach our degree programs.
- No required on-campus residency.

C521: Managing Accounting Information for Decision-Making (accounting primer suggested but not required)

C550: Law & Ethics in Business
C562: Developing Strategic Capabilities
C570: Strategic Marketing Management
C580: Operations Management (recommend taking C520 before this course but not required)
