This class provides an introduction to enterprise business processing with particular emphasis on SAP and Microsoft enterprise software applied to global processes. It covers concepts in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Business Process Management (BPM) from non-vendor and vendor specific points of view. It covers SAP’s BPM architecture known as NetWeaver and uses hands on labs for Portal development, Visual Composer process mapping and XI. Additional labs cover Microsoft's Biztalk Server using Visual Studio 2008 and MS Visio as the developer interface in order to demonstrate how global organizations perform business process management in a Microsoft environment.
