Participation in the Knall-Cohen Fund provides students with exposure to the various facets of a sell-side research analyst’s main job functions. Students will be assigned an industry-specific coverage group, analyzing and evaluating companies in their coverage as they prepare major deliverables expected of a Wall Street professional, such as three-statement models, industry reports, and stock pitches. The Knall-Cohen experience culminates in a final presentation of a stock pitch in front of a panel of over 20 seasoned Wall Street analysts.
KC Application and Admission
Any first-year students who are in Kelley or expecting to be in Kelley at the start of their second year majoring in finance are welcome to apply. Pre-business students may apply to the Knall-Cohen Fund, however their participation is conditional upon admission to Kelley.
The process consists of an application and two rounds of interviews. Resources to assist in the application are found on this website. (before the application opens) Applications will open in mid-February, with final decisions communicated around mid-late March. (when application is live) The Knall-Cohen Fund is currently accepting applications. Click here to apply. (after applications have closed) The Knall-Cohen Fund is no longer accepting applications for the *academic year* year.
The Knall-Cohen Fund looks for students who are passionate about equity research, finance, and the markets. Students interested in Knall-Cohen are encouraged to be involved with student-run Kelley organizations during their first-year.
