Dan Sirota, is the Vice President of Cook Medical’s Interventional Radiology division and has global responsibility for the sales and marketing, product development, financial performance and general management of Cook’s product lines for interventional radiology (IR), including venous access, interventional oncology, embolization and other product areas in the United States and abroad.
Dan started at Cook as a Critical Care sales representative in 1987. While a sales representative, he also acted as product manager for the northern Pacific Rim, doing business primarily in Japan and Korea. In 2000, he moved in-house at Cook’s global headquarters as the Critical Care marketing manager. Dan then transitioned to the Peripheral Intervention division in 2004, where he quickly became a senior product manager overseeing products that would eventually become the Interventional Radiology product line. In January of 2009, Dan was asked to lead the newly launched Interventional Radiology business unit.
Sirota, who lives in Bloomington, Ind., with his wife and children, earned his M.B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington (B.S., 1987).
