Do you offer live, synchronous class sessions?
Yes. Most courses include one live session per week, held via Zoom for real-time interaction with faculty and classmates. Sessions typically last 60 to 90 minutes and are scheduled in the evening (generally between 6 and 9 p.m. ET).
These sessions are designed for working professionals and are consistently rated as one of the most valuable parts of the program.
Is this online program flexible for working professionals?
Yes. The program is designed specifically for busy professionals. Most students take about 6 credits per term and balance coursework alongside full-time employment and personal commitments.
You also have the flexibility to adjust your pace—whether you want to accelerate your progress or extend your timeline—so you can tailor the program to fit your goals and availability.
Does Kelley Executive Education Programs offer career advancement services?
While traditional career coaching is not included, students gain:
- Access to a global network of more than 137,000 Kelley alumni
- Opportunities to network with other professionals in your courses
These connections provide meaningful opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
How do students network in an online program?
Our students tell us that every interaction they have with peers, faculty, and staff during their experience is an opportunity to network. Networking is integrated throughout the experience, and you’ll connect with peers and faculty through:
- Live class sessions
- Faculty office hours
- Group projects and team collaborations
You’ll also have opportunities to meet in person if you decide to attend our mixed immersion in the fall.
How will the degree appear on my diploma?
If you’re completing your MBA, your diploma will state that you earned a Master of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, the same credential awarded to residential Kelley MBA graduates. The diploma will not say the program was completed online and will not mention Kelley Executive Education Programs.
Is this online MBA respected?
The Kelley School of Business is a longtime leader in online education with a proven reputation for success. Kelley maintains accreditation by AACSB International, which includes a rigorous self-evaluation and peer-review element, as well as a continuous improvement review every five years to ensure we are improving over time.
What is my investment? How much does an online MBA cost?
Tuition varies based on your partner organization and is offered at a preferred rate—lower than the standard Kelley Direct Online MBA Program.
Are scholarships available?
KEEP does not provide scholarships to students since we already offer a discounted tuition rate. You may be eligible for fellowships or awards through Indiana University, and you can look for scholarships outside of IU as well.

Are there benefits for military students?
IU accepts most military tuition assistance, including the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. The Center for Veteran and Military Students can help determine what benefits are available to you.
Indiana University waives the $75 application fee for military and veteran applicants. Thank you for serving our country.

Also, please note that if you are in your final semester of the MS in Strategic Management program and are applying to the MBA, you may qualify for a reduced application fee of just $35 – making it a more affordable next step in continuing your education through KEEP.
Do you offer refunds if I applied for the wrong program?
Application fees are non-refundable. However, if you believe you selected the wrong Kelley program, you may be able to apply to a different program at no additional cost. Please contact our office as soon as possible so we can review your situation and help you explore your options.
When will I be notified of an admission decision?
Admissions decisions are made after both the Phase 1 and Phase 2 applications are complete. Once both applications are completed, the admissions committee will begin the review process. Typically, students are notified of the final admissions decision within two to three weeks. Please check your application email for your decision.
Is the GMAT or GRE required?
A GMAT or GRE test score is not required to complete the application process. English test scores are required for applicants to the SKK GSB partner program.
If I am admitted, can I defer to a different term?
You are expected to begin coursework in the term for which you applied and were admitted. You may request to defer your program start a maximum of one time. If your deferral request is approved, you will be required to meet the degree requirements and pay the tuition rate effective at the time you matriculate into the program.
If you do not enroll in courses in the next available start term, you will be administratively withdrawn. You must then fully reapply for admittance into any future term. Admission into future terms is not guaranteed.
What is your transfer credit policy?
To be considered for transfer credit, you must apply before the end of your first term in the program and the graduate coursework you submit must have been completed within the past five years. A maximum of 3 credits may be transferred into the Business Management Certificate program (BMC). For the MS in Strategic Management (MSSM) and MBA programs, up to 9 credits may be accepted for transfer. If you are pursuing the BMC, we may review additional eligible coursework beyond the 3 credit limit; however, those additional credits will not be applied unless you later continue into the MSSM or MBA program.

What is the difference between the KEEP online Partner MBA and the Kelley Direct Online MBA?
The Kelley Executive Education Programs online Partner MBA and the Kelley Direct Online MBA are designed for different audiences. Each program is independent with their own distinct student populations, courses, plans of study, and administration. While both are taught by the same Kelley faculty, have the same accreditation, and grant the same Kelley MBA diploma, the core courses, modality, timing, etc. of the courses varies by program, as do the concentrations and electives offered.
Kelley Direct students complete their MBA (54 credit hours) within two to two and a half years at a total tuition cost of $94,944 (as of fall 2025). They must attend classes year-round to stay on schedule. The Kelley Direct program offers career counseling, multiple networking events, mandatory on-location experiences, and a wide choice in majors, minors, and electives. This is designed for individual students interested in advancing their careers through a more traditional MBA path.
KEEP students typically have up to five years to complete their degree. The schedule is more flexible, allowing time off if needed to fit students' work demands and company schedules. KEEP does not offer career counseling, networking, or on-location experiences, as we believe our students are receiving that developmental work from their sponsoring organizations.
Electives for the Partner MBA are limited and are chosen in conversation with our partners, so the companies have input into developing their employees rather than the electives being designed for individual learners. Since we do have a partnership and offer less additional resources than Kelley Direct, we are able to provide our MBA at a discounted rate.
