How to Apply

The director of the Honors Program sends an Honors Leadership Team (HLT) application to every junior during the spring semester. If you’re interested, you’ll be asked to submit a resume as well as short essays. You’ll also move through an interview process.

Selections are made by April 1 of each year.

As an HLT member, you will have the chance to work as a mentor, coach, or orientation leader to provide advice, guidance, feedback, and support to sophomore and junior Honors students. You’ll attend leadership retreats, and receive training from professional consultants to develop your business coaching skills. You’ll also help plan programming events for your younger peers.

Participation in the Honors Leadership Team will earn you recognition from Kelley School of Business and the Kelley Honors program. HLT members fulfill their Senior Leadership Requirement without having to enroll in one of the three-credit hour classes. And an Outstanding HLT Senior Award is presented at the spring graduation banquet attended by corporate and Kelley faculty representatives.

We welcome your questions! Please send them to Alison Kvetko or Gary Raad.
