MBA management and entrepreneurship students gain career-related experience and knowledge through a variety of academies, clubs, and organizations as well as by taking part in regional and national case competitions.
The following academies offer advanced course work and hands-on experience:
- The Consulting Academy offers workshops, trips, speakers, case interview preparation, on-campus recruiting opportunities, and more for students interested in consulting careers.
- The Entrepreneurial Management Academy helps students who are interested in developing new businesses to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.
- The Supply Chain & Global Management Academy exposes MBA students to cross-functional global leadership and strategic supply chain management, strengthening their “real world” skills.
Many management students also take part in our Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (JCEI), which provides connections between current students and the business community and develops initiatives that span the campus, and the Institute for Corporate Governance (ICG), which conveys the principles of sustainable competitive advantage.
