Pedro is a MBA candidate at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He is planning to major in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and will be attending the Capital Markets Academy.
Pedro has a bachelor degree in Finance and Public Accounting from the Universidad Anahuac, and he also possesses a double degree in Business Administration from the International University in Geneva. He also possesses a Certificate in Entrepreneurship.
Pedro has approximately six years of full time work experience. For the first three years, he worked in the banking industry and most recently he has worked in an entrepreneurial endeavor, both in Mexico City. Pedro started his career as a risk analyst in the banking industry. In this position, Pedro was responsible for credit reports and market and liquidity risks from subsidiaries to stakeholders. Later, Pedro switched to corporate banking as an account executive, where he was responsible for the maintenance and growth of a loan portfolio.
After leaving the banking industry, Pedro co-founded a holding company that is developing a retail fashion brand and a fast food chain. This entrepreneurial venture has allowed him to gain experience in the retail industry, find an opportunity within industry, develop a concept that fills this gap, negotiate terms and conditions, and fully implement and executed the business plan.
