Wilder Ramirez is an MBA candidate at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He is majoring in Finance and Business Analytics and pursuing a career in corporate finance.
Before coming to Kelley, Wilder worked as a Chief of the Department of Macroeconomic Affairs in the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru. He led the team who elaborated the Multiannual Macroeconomic Framework, the most important document of economic policy of Peru. His other activities included advising the Chief Economist on macroeconomic policies, preparing the Ministerís presentations, and creating reports for the Minister on macroeconomic issues to make decisions about policy economy. He also had the opportunity to lead the Department of Fiscal Affairs.
Wilder also worked as a senior analyst of Macroeconomic Affairs, Public Debt, and International Economy in the Ministry of Economy. In this role, he advised on topics of public debt, produced tools to apply an active debt policy reduction, and forecasted the main macroeconomic variables of the Multiannual Macroeconomic Framework and balance of payments of Peru.
Wilderís experience also includes working at Sintesis, an economics newspaper as a Financial Analyst. He was in charge of the stock market section of the newspaper. His task was to prepare daily financial reports, some of which became top headlines.
Wilderís educational background includes a degree in Economic Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria, Peru. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
