Indiana University Bloomington

Doctoral Programs

1960 Notable

From 1960-2013, we prepared nearly 1,200 men and women
for rewarding academic careers ó thatís more than any other university.

Welcome from the Chair

The Kelley School of Business has a long history of commitment to educating highly qualified individuals to create and apply new knowledge to the various disciplines of today’s business world. Proof of that commitment can be seen among the approximately 1,000 men and women who have graduated from Kelley Doctoral Programs in the past half century. These graduates have moved on to leadership positions in universities, industry, and government in the United States and abroad.

Our main goal for Kelley Doctoral Programs is to prepare students to create and disseminate knowledge. As part of a major research institution, we are fortunate to have the full support and resources needed to accomplish our goal. Once they’re here for a short time, students find that the most important resource available is the faculty itself.

Deciding to pursue a doctoral degree in business is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make. We hope that this Web site will give you a better sense of our vision, an understanding of our current direction, and a feeling for the flavor of life in the Bloomington community.
