Welcome from the Chair
"We welcome highly motivated students with a passion for understanding the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century."
Whatever your goal, we'll give you the strategic advantage to get there.
The Department of Business Economics and Public Policy prepares students for a wide range of leadership positions in corporations, banking, and consulting firms, as well as the legal profession, government service, and the environmental and non-profit sectors. One of the original departments of the Kelley School of Business, the department has continued to focus on the study of business operations, the economic conditions in which businesses function, and the public policy environment that influences all sectors of society. At the undergraduate level the department has two interrelated tracks for its majors: economic consulting and public policy analysis.
Our faculty bring their strong training in economics, along with extensive business, public policy, and international experiences, into the classroom and their research. Department members have taught and conducted research around the globe. They have consulted and worked for major government agencies in North America, Europe, and Asia.
We welcome highly motivated students with a passion for understanding the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
