The Indiana University School of Business (now the Kelley School) established the Center for Real Estate Studies (CRES) in 1985 to provide support for a variety of research and educational activities. Under Director Doug McCoy the Center strives to provide top-quality educational opportunities that are relevant and integrative of different functional areas and to increase professionalism in the industry by disseminating current information. The Center is a catalyst for providing interaction with our alumni and acts as an intermediary for students pursuing a career in real estate.
Located on the beautiful Indiana University campus, the Center offers many opportunities for students to gain additional knowledge about real estate through extracurricular activities such as conferences, luncheons, and a mentor program. The Center staff post announcements of national scholarships on a regular basis. In addition, the Center assists students and companies in recruiting activities for both internship and full-time positions and also assists alumni in career changes.
