Welcome to Bloomington

Bloomington, Indiana—the hometown of the Kelley School and Indiana University Bloomington—is located in beautiful southern Indiana, just an hour south of the state’s capital and largest city, Indianapolis. A cosmopolitan college town, Bloomington is home to 80,000 residents but has the cultural resources and diversity of a much larger city.
Bloomington has four distinct seasons, and the weather is generally mild. Extreme cold is rare, snowfall is limited, summers are balmy, and we have long, beautiful autumns and early springs. The average high and low temperatures are 85° and 65°F in July; 34° and 18° in January.
