The Real Estate Major

What is the Finance-Real Estate Major?

In addition to learning about finance, students in the finance–real estate track will learn about this specialized area. Students will take courses that range from Real Estate Law to Real Estate Investment Analysis. Through the program, students learn the core fundamentals of the real estate industry and are able to step into a position in the industry.

Students will discuss in depth, different areas of real estate including; investment, development, management, brokerage, financial analysis, REIT’s, and how to make rational and intelligent decisions. These discussions will be based off real life case analysis and situations that professors have experienced first hand or current practices in the industry.
