A great example of the interconnected real estate field is when we had a guest speaker, Ed Schreyer, from CB Richard Ellis come to IU. I kept in touch with him over time, and he had a contact for me to get to know down here in Florida. The professionals the Real Estate Club associates with are great at helping the members’ network and get involved. "During a club roundtable event at the annual Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors Conference held in downtown Indianapolis, I was introduced to a representative of Sandor Development Company. Sandor is a private retail developer based in Indianapolis with a satellite office in Scottsdale, Arizona. I interned with them for one summer and over Christmas break in their leasing department and will work with them full time after graduation."
