Tuition & Financial Aid
There are many options available to help fund your education, including federal loan options, third-party sponsorship, scholarships, and military benefits.
Among top-ranked business schools, the Kelley School of Business offers one of the most affordable tuition rates. Accordingly, Kelley Direct’s tuition also compares favorably to online programs at other leading business schools, and delivers a strong return on your education investment. Our students tell us that Kelley Direct’s coursework is immediately applicable to their careers, and they earn long-term gains including increase in salary and promotions directly related to pursuing a Kelley degree.
For financial aid and VA purposes, Kelley Direct students are considered full-time when they register for six or more hours in a term and half-time when they register for three to five hours in a term.
If you have questions about federal student loans for graduate students, please email kdfinaid@indiana.edu or visit the Office of Student Financial Assistance for additional information.
For the 2012-13 academic year, Kelley Direct tuition will be $1,145/credit hour with no program fee charged. Tuition is subject to change every academic year.
Each course requires materials such as textbooks, course packs, journals, and publications. The average cost for materials per course is $100.
The public tuition rate listed does not apply to students enrolled through our Corporate Partnership programs. Corporate students should contact their company program administrator with any questions.
Kelley Direct is an education partner with EdLink, the largest provider of corporate tuition assistance services for more than 25 years. Students employed by EdLink clients receive a 10 percent discount on tuition. Speak with your company’s tuition compensation expert, or contact Gina Bethel, Kelley Direct student services specialist, at vbethel [at] indiana [dot] edu.
Students interested in federal financial aid must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Include federal school code 001809 under “school choices.” To sign the FAFSA electronically and expedite the process, obtain a pin number. IU Bloomington has detailed financial aid information specifically for Kelley Direct students.
Indiana University is committed to providing support and assistance to military students, veterans, and their families. If you are on active duty or are a veteran and you wish to use your military benefits to pay for your educational expenses, please contact the IU Veterans Support Services office as soon as possible. Public students who are not part of a custom corporate program may have their tuition billed to a third-party sponsor, such as their employer. Third parties cannot be billed directly if payment is conditional (contingent on grades, for example). Find full details by downloading this letter from the IU Office of the Bursar (pdf).
