Corpoarate and Alumni Relations
Net Impact's main focus this semester is to bring more value to our members by giving oppportunities to get involved with companies on campus.
UITS Lobbying
Net Impact is currently trying reduce waste and foster efficiency with reguards to campus computing by persuading UITS to count duplexed printing as 1.5 pages off the print quota. Currently double sided printing counts for 2 pages, the same as it would if you used two separate sheets of paper.
Community Outreach
Net Impact plans to continue is long standing tradition of working with the Bloomington Boys and Girls club on recycling education as well as forging new relationships with other local orgainizations.
Local Bussiness Tours
Net Impact strives to understand local businesses and each semester we tour a local business. Past tours have included Upland Brewery and Benton County Wind Farm.
Speakers Series
The goal of the Speaker Series is to get first hand accounts of sustainability in businesses. Past speakers have ranged from executives of corporations to professors at the university.
