Recognized by BusinessWeek as an outstanding MBA professor, Scott Smart is also a published author in such prestigious publications as Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Journal of Accounting and Economics.
Smart worked as an M&A consultant to Intel during the technology boom in 1999. He has been an advisor to firms including Synopsis, Xilinx and Whirlpool. A recognized expert on initial public offerings, his research expertise includes the effects of dual-class stock on the value and management of large corporations. Scott has served on the board of directors for nonprofits such as Habitat for Humanity and WonderLab, as well as the Skyhawk Small Cap Mutual Fund.
