Professor Roedl spent three decades in industry before deciding to train business students for career success. His professional experience includes positions as a product manager, sales manager, director of marketing, and vice president of marketing and sales. In addition to teaching in the Kelley MBA programs, he also teaches in an Executive MBA Program in Asia and as a visiting professor for Steinbeis University (Germany). He is also faculty chair and instructor for the Kelley Life Science Executive Certificate Program. As an educator, Professor Roedl has recently won several teaching awards, including the MBA Teaching Excellence Award in the full-time program and the IU Trustees Teaching Award, along with numerous other teaching awards and nominations.
