Legal Issues in HRM: Health, Family, and Privacy (1.5 cr.)

An increasing amount of an organization’s time and resources is being devoted to health, safety, and family issues, which must be managed within the context of a growing legal recognition of a right to employee privacy. This course examines the statutory and common laws pertaining to these areas and the courts' and agencies' interpretation and application.
