Advanced Negotiations and Dispute Resolution

This course builds upon the foundation set down in the W505 Course.  It examines the remaining key topics necessary to bring mastery of the negotiations/conflict management skills set to the next level.  The course subject matter centers on strategy and the wise exercise of power; framing and planning; dealing with difficult people and intractable disputes; multiparty, complex disputes; negotiating as and through an agent; gender issues; cross cultural and international business negotiations; organizing for effective negotiation and conflict management; and alternative dispute resolution processes.
