  • 7-weeks
  • 1.5 credits
  • Prerequisite: MBA Core

Information systems and information technology (IS/IT) represent a key source of competitive advantage for firms. Today IS/IT no longer is simply used to support the business, but rather radically transform the very basis for competition. An understanding of existing and emerging information technologies, the functions of IS/IT and its impact on the organizational operations, and the issues and challenges associated with successfully incorporating IS/IT into a firm is a critical aspect of the knowledge base of managers.
