This course covers the basic concepts of database design and implementation. The goal of this course is to provide adequate technical detail while emphasizing the organizational and implementation issues relevant to the management of data in an organizational environment. Topics include relational data modeling, logical database design, structured query language (SQL), and the use of data in organizations.
