Steve (BS '09) found a job posting at Edgewater consullting company on the IU Alumni Job Board and reached out to Adam (BS '06), who was listed as the contact person for the job posting. Steve spoke with Adam several times, and Adam was able to insert Steve into a recruiting cycle that was almost over. Steve got the job. The total time that elapsed from Steve's initial contact with Adam to his first day at work was only four weeks, which is unheard of in the consulting industry. Steve and Adam ensure that an emphasis is placed on recruiting from Kelley for their firm, even though the directors of their practice all went to the University of Wisconsin.
