Ryan (MBA '12) was looking to move to the greater NYC area following graduation to pursue a career in private wealth management, but was having a difficult time navigating the job market. One day outside of a Kelley faculty members office, Ryan was introduced to a staff member for the Kelley Office of Development and Alumni Relations and struck up a conversation about the challenges he faced in his job search. The staff member introduced Ryan to Rick (MBA '95) who agreed to meet with Ryan and introduce him to several other Kelley alums in the private wealth field in the northeast. Additionally, Ryan was introduced to Michael (BS '84), a VP at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, who has provided guidance and assistance in finding the right opportunity in New York. Thanks to the strength and commitment of the Kelley network, Ryan is moving toward his goal of establishing his career - while building his professional network!
