Tom joined the Office of Development in January 2005 as Director, Major Gifts and moved to Senior Director of the Major Gifts program in 2010. Prior to coming to Bloomington, he served as Director of Admissions & Financial Aid at the acclaimed Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan. Before Interlochen, Tom served as the first Dean of Admissions at Idyllwild Arts in southern California…the first private high school for the arts in the western US.  He and his wife, Mary Lou, have two children - Roma and Wil. Tom holds a BA ('84) from Indiana University.
