Why should I contribute?
No one knows the needs of the Kelley School better than those working inside its walls. Whether we support student scholarships,
building renovations, faculty and staff development, library collections or research, our participation demonstrates to others
that we know and value this institution, not just as an employer, but as an important contributor to society.

We work for a state school. Why do we need private gifts?
At a majority of universities across the U.S., funds that have traditionally supported higher education have been drastically reduced.
Last year, state assistance accounted for only 14% of Kelley School income. Private gifts must make up the difference if the Kelley School
is to continue its tradition of high standards and excellence in teaching, research and student opportunities. Faculty and staff gifts not
only support the school directly, they also influence gifts from private and corporate donors.

Where will my gift go?
KSB faculty, staff and retirees define Kelley pride in thousands of different ways — and there are just as many ways to donate. Your gift can be designated to any program, department, scholarship, fellowship, or project you desire. We will honor your donor designation. Simply note your preference on the gift form.
We do encourage donors to consider giving to the Kelley Shareholders Fund. This money is used for various purposes such as encouraging student
development in leadership, recognizing outstanding teaching and academic performance, recruiting the most sought after faculty,
and conducting activities or events that showcase the Kelley School and initiatives for which other funding is not available.

Can I designate my gift to more than one area?
No problem. Clearly note on the payroll deduction or online gift form how much you want to give to each area.

How do I make a gift?
Gifts can be made by check or credit card, using the 2013 Gift Card.
Or, to make it easier on your budget, you may give via payroll deduction.
Once you complete a payroll deduction form, the amount you indicate will automatically be deducted from your paycheck and forwarded to the program you have designated.
Deductions will begin on the first available pay date after the form is received. You also may give via Electronic Funds Transfer
(EFT) from your bank. Finally, you have the option to make a gift using your credit card by completing this safe and secure Online Gift Form.

How much should I give?
Participation is our number one goal. What is important is that you give, not necessarily the amount.

Can I make an anonymous gift?
Yes. Simply note your preference on the payroll deduction or online gift form.

Can I make a gift jointly with my spouse/partner?

I have already made a gift to the Kelley School this year. Will that count toward the Faculty & Staff Campaign goal?
Yes. Any gift/pledge made by an employee during the current fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)
will count toward this year’s Faculty & Staff Campaign.

What if my spouse/partner works for a company which offers a matching gift program?
You may be able to double or even triple the impact of your gift if your spouse or partner’s company has a matching gift program.
Ask your spouse or partner to check with his or her human resources department
or visit http://matchinggifts.com/IUF/
for a list of employers with matching gift programs.
