Purdue University

Kelley School of Business/Purdue College of Agriculture

This innovative dual degree program combines the resources and strengths of two world-class schools, Purdue University College of Agriculture and Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. This program consists of an MBA from Kelley and an MS in Agricultural Economics - Food and Agribusiness Management option from Purdue. The program is aimed at developing the managerial abilities of future leaders in the food and agricultural industries. The use of distance education technology allows potential students to complete two advanced degrees while maintaining ongoing responsibilities with their respective organizations.

About the Program

Both Purdue and Kelley School of Business take pride in delivering an exceptional graduate education opportunity for working professionals. Both schools use only experienced faculty to teach courses, and the degrees earned are the same degrees you could earn as a resident student.

The program is about 85% online. The program includes five one-week residency sessions, two at Purdue, two at Kelley School of Business, and one at a Purdue foreign partner institution.

Residencies are an essential part of this program. The Purdue residencies include face-to-face lecture time, detailed question and answer sessions, and time for networking.  The Kelley School of Business holds two 1.5 credit courses: Leading Change, and Topics in Business Analysis. The Purdue residency sessions are a face-to-face extension of the fall courses.
