Robert Malone heads BP’s domestic operations. The company is the nation’s largest producer of oil and natural gas and the second-largest gasoline retailer. Prior to his current role, Malone was chief executive of BP Shipping Limited, where he was responsible for the operation of the energy industry’s largest oil and natural gas fleet. His extensive corporate experience includes an assignment as President, CEO, and Chief Operating Officer of Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, operator of the Trans Alaska Oil Pipeline. He has been selected for the Board for the Alliance to Save Energy and the Foreign Policy Association. He also has served on the California Climate Action Registry Board of Directors and the Board of the National Petroleum Council.
