Mr. Glasscock guided Anthem through a period of growth, including the merger of Anthem, Inc. and WellPoint Health Networks, Inc. and the Anthem acquisitions of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in New Hampshire, Maine, Colorado, Nevada, and Virginia. At the same time, he championed the company’s efforts to improve quality and customer service, which have been recognized by accreditation organizations, regulatory and ratings agencies, and Anthem customers across the country.
