Mr. Evans was appointed president and chief executive officer of Clarian Health Partners in 2002. Clarian was formed in January 1997 through the consolidation of Methodist Hospital of Indiana, Inc., Indiana University Hospital, and Riley Hospital for Children and, with revenues for 2004 exceeding $2 billion, is one of the largest health care systems in the United States.
