Recruitment

We are looking for students that are excited to become a part of a student-run business and gain practical work experience by applying knowledge gained from a variety of Kelley coursework. Given the entrepreneurial spirit of the Bstore, we are eager to find students who have creative ideas and want to create a dynamic impact on the organization.

Opportunities

Finance Committee: members on the Finance committee manage the income and expenses of the store. Members will gain experience with monitoring the cash fund, pricing items, and creating budgets.

Marketing & Communications Committee
: this committee encompasses all marketing tactics related to the Bstore including everyday sales, monthly promotions and special events. Members create designs, leverage social media tools, and work to increase our customer base.

Operations Committee
: the operations committee strives to organize and increase the effectiveness of the Bstore. Members reach out to Kelley student organizations and philanthropies regarding funding opportunities with the Bstore, create the staffing schedule, track member hours, and keep records updated.

Technology Committee
: members on this committee look to increase the ease of running the Bstore through the use of databases and other tools.  The Technology committee is also responsible for tracking and documenting inventory.

Market Research Committee
: the committee works to understand the Bstore’s business objectives. Members formulate market analysis plans which may include designing merchandise or assisting in development of questionnaires to collect market data.

Special Events Committee
: members on the Special Events committee seek out different selling opportunities outside of the actual store. Members staff these events, create promotion packages, and put together the end of the semester banquets for the Bstore.

Qualifications

Willingness to work the Bstore a minimum of 1 hour a week and attend bi-weekly organizational meetings.
