Throughout the year, Beta Alpha Psi also holds many awesome social events. One such event is dinner at a local restaurant. Last semester, members enjoyed great wings and sports at BuffaLouie’s, one of Bloomington’s best restaurants. We provide all the food and members have the opportunity to meet and get to know their fellow BAP members.
Another fantastic BAP tradition is bowling night at the Indiana Memorial Union. Every year we hold bowling night to see who can bowl closest to a perfect 300! While the games sometime become competitive, they’re always a lot of fun. We also provide food and the opportunity for BAP members to mingle.
Last semester, BAP also tried something new and completely different. We headed out to the Frank Southern Ice Arena for an evening of ice-skating. Everyone had a fantastic time, and even the ice-skating rookies eventually got the hang of it and had a great time!
This past spring, BAP also participated in the Little Fifty Relay Race for the first time ever! We had two teams compete in the race, a men’s team and a women’s team. We trained hard and had a lot of fun on race day! The teams got to spend a lot of time together and really get to know each other. We also didn’t come in last!
