"The Power of Kelley...!"

Chris (BS '05), Product Manager at Ingersoll Rand, helped Mary Beth (BS ’10) get her big break. In the spring of 2010, Mary Beth attended an internship career fair as a senior, where she heard a lot of "I’m sorry, we’re looking for sophomores and juniors." Then she spotted a company she had not heard of – Ingersoll Rand, and wandered over to introduce herself with the 30-second elevator pitch. The response she got was, "Hi I’m Chris! I used to go to school here, too," with a smile pointing to her nametag with the IU symbol. "May I see your resume?” she asked. After taking a look, she said, "You know what? I think we might be able to make an exception for you." Chris took a chance on Mary Beth as a fellow Kelley grad and today she is a full-time employee at Ingersoll Rand in the Advanced Development Program for Marketing. Mary Beth said, "The Kelley Connection started my so-far successful career. Thanks, Kelley!"
