Business Outlook for 2013

For 39 years, the Kelley School of Business has presented its forecast of the national, state, and local economies through a series of presentations in cities across Indiana. This webinar will provide Kelley alumni who could not attend a presentation during the Business Outlook Panel's statewide tour with the opportunity to learn what can be expected for the national and global business climates in 2013.

Last year, when the Panel put together its annual forecast, the outlook for 2012 was characterized as one of "lingering uncertainty, modest growth, and fragile progress." This assessment turned out to be on the mark.

Topics to be addressed in this webinar include:
• Will the economic recovery continue?
• What is the outlook for growth and employment in 2013?
• What is the fiscal cliff and what impact will there be if we go off it?
• Are there any bright spots in the economy?
• How will economic conditions affect financial markets in 2013?

Webinar presenter:
Kyle J. Anderson (MBA'96, PhD'09), Clinical Assistant Professor of Business Economics, Kelley School of Business
