Join fellow Indiana University alumni for the Chicago Chapter's 2013 Economic Outlook Event, featuring speaker William A. Strauss, senior economist and economic advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

In the aftermath of a presidential election year with a national debate on taxes and entitlements, a cautious market, and an uncertain international future, 2013 will be a very interesting year for the economy. You will want to be informed. 

Speaker Bio
William A. Strauss has been senior economist and economic advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank since 1982. His chief responsibilities include analyzing the performance of the Midwest economy and the manufacturing sector for use in monetary policy. He also produces the Chicago Fed Midwest Manufacturing Index. Strauss has been interviewed on numerous television and radio shows and quoted in major business magazines and newspapers. He is past president of the Chicago Association of Business Economists and serves as a board member of the National Association for Business Economics and the Advisory Council for the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Center for Economic Education.
